Using technology to improve safety
Conducting safety audits provides a means of identifying potential problems before they have an impact on the health and safety of a business and its people. At Allfab, we have long relied on auditing to help identify, track and improve systems and processes that may lead to health and safety risks.
This year, we have introduced a new way to capture auditing data. This online application allows any team member to perform an audit on-site, capture supporting photos and documents before being uploaded directly to our safety system. In addition, the system notifies key stakeholders if and when changes are required to make work practices safer.
Recently one of our on-site crew's toolbox meeting and work pack was audited by a client. The client provided positive feedback, sharing how impressed he was with the standard of Allfab's coach and audit sheets, as well as the use of technology to provide real time audit tracking.
Well done to Grant Gaffa for demonstrating a positive attitude to safety. This has been recognised and applauded by our clients.
